At Tarrington, we emphasise the development of the whole child. By the time your child has completed primary school at Tarrington, they will have the skills and confidence to succeed in their secondary studies – and beyond.
Emphasising the joy in learning
Students learn best when they are engaged and curious in their learning. We use practical experiences such as play-based learning and ‘real world’ problem-solving scenarios to deepen their understanding.
The learning environment
Each classroom provides a stimulating learning environment for students. Filled with vibrant colours, our walls celebrate what we learn in class by displaying the fantastic work of students for all to see. Our spacious campus is surrounded by thriving bushland and boasts a variety of fantastic outdoor spaces for exploration, exercise and play, including a fantastic adventure playspace and integrated, all-years play areas.
Intentionally small class sizes nurture each child’s confidence to explore their potential and share their unique voice. Teachers have genuine relationships with students and work with each child to build positive self-esteem and inspire their confidence to ‘give it a go.’
